WIth the recent purchase of Woodrow Timber & Supplies, builders’ merchant MKM has extended its number of branches.
Woodrow Timber & Supplies supplies timber, sheet and joinery products from three branches in Airdrie, Ayr and Dumfermline. The business was originally founded in 1979 as Rowan Timber Supplies but rebranded as Woodrow Timber & Supplies last year.
MKM now have 97 branches in the UK together with the recent additions in Scotland and Spey Valley Timber which was purchased last year. Two further branchess have been established in Peterhead and Inverness.
Managing director at Woodrow Timber & Supplies, Nick Higgins said: “Following the many years of building our reputation and services in the Scottish timber industry we wanted to ensure that our business was in the best position to grow. The future of our three branches was vitally important and we feel confident this will happen under MKM’s leadership”.
