A firm backed by Rio Ferdinand, former England Footballer and Mark Noble is backing a scheme to build 100 affordable homes on the Wirral. Planning has been given to developer Peel Land and Property to build 500 one and two bedroom apartments on the 500 acre Wirral Waters Site, the first in a £90m residential scheme on the former East Float Dock.
The project which includes 100 affordable homes is supported by Legacy, a firm created to help local authorities deliver affordable homes and backed by Rio Ferdinand, Mark Noble West Ham Football Club Captain and Bobby Zamora former West Ham Striker.
