A partnership between Buckinghamshire Council and The Hill Group is to result in the construction of two housing developments in High Wycombe.
177 new homes are to be built by The Hill Group for two schemes, one in Bellfield Road, High Wycombe and one in Ashwells Field, Tylers Green.
A disused storage facility is to be redeveloped on Bellfied Road where 68 one, two and three bedroom apartments will be built and available through affordable rent. A reserved matters planning application for the scheme is expected to finalise within the next few months. Offsite methods of construction are also to be used on this site which will include steel frame and bathroom pod fabrication via Hill’s partner Fusion Steel Framing.
On the Ashfields Field site plans are for the construction of more than 100 houses ranging from two, three, four and five bedroom homes. Landscaped gardens with open communal spaces and a childrens play area. These homes will be offered for private sale and a mix of affordable rents.
Pollard Thomas Edwards and landscape architect The Environment Partnership will work with both projects.
