South Ribble Council Care Home

Plans have been approved for the construction of a council care home by South Ribble Borough Council.

The Borough Council appointed Conion Construction as main contractor for the Jubilee Gardens extra care home at West Paddock in Leyland.

It was originally planned to start work on the project in January 2023 but now that the planning process is completed Conion plan to be on site before the end of this year and completion is planned for 2024.

The new building will consist of 70 apartments able to support independant living for older people and will also include a cafe and hair salon.

Jubilee Gardens, owned and managed by South Ribble Borough Council will be the first scheme of its kind and considered to be a key development for the area.
