A Public Sector Framework is to be put in place for small and medium-sized construction contractors in the county of Nottinghamshire.
An amalgamation of Nottinghamshire County Council and public sector procurement agency Scape, together with Arc Property Services Partnership are in the process of preparing a four year construction framework, expected to be worth £17m to the selected companies.
Arc’s general building framework was first used to procure £10m of building works, this will be the second generation of their general building frameworks.
A tendering process is to take place this summer and it is thought that up to 33 contractors will secure a place on the new framework and deliver projects across Nottinghamshire County Council properties which will include County Hall.
A market engagement event is being held on 4th April in Nottingham where suppliers will have the opportunity to learn more about the framework. A pre-qualification questionaire will then be made available for bidders to show their interest. Preferred bidders will then be informed in December 2022.
