Site work on a leisure and entertainment complex in the city centre of Preston has been started by Eric Wright Construction.
The Animate Complex is being built on behalf of sister complany Maple Grove Developments and Preston City Council. The project will contain an eight screen cinema, a 16 lane bowling alley, five restaurants and bars together with an underground car park.
Works planned will include improved pedestrian access between the complex and the bus station, which is part of the wider £200m Harris Quarter public realm and lighting plan.
