Plans for residential scheme in Greenwich

Planning permission has been granted for a mixed-use residential scheme in Greenwich, London and is designed by Scott Brownrigg Architects.

The project is to redevelop the brownfield site into 58 new homes, also included plans for over 890 sq m of commercial space.

There is to be a choice of one, two and three bedroom homes, together with four family maisonettes. The scheme is tenure blind offering a mix of private, affordable rent and shared ownership housing.

With sustainability leading the design, roof gardens, pocket parks and also incorporating green living surfaces will increase the biodiversity onsite and also improve the streetscape.

The plans have been developed working alongside the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Greenwich Society, Local ward counsellors and residents, and represents an important improvement to this urban environment of the Woolwich Road Corridor.
