Nottingham Regeneration Plans

Plans have been submitted to Nottingham City Council for a bioscience facility .

This will form the next part of Nottingham’s The Island Quarter and will create 245,000 sqft of research and laboratory space. The project will consist of two buildings a five storey east building and a seven storey west building to be connected by a glazed link at upper levels and will create a mixture of laboratory and office space together with meeting areas.

The mixed-use Island Quarter development is the regeneration of the site previously occupied by the Boots pharmaceutical factory, Nottingham. The latest plans will add to the development of the northern edge of the 36 acre development which consists of a 693 bed student accommodation area which is due for completion in the summer of 2024.
