Newly created role at Mace Consult

Mace have created a new role of chief operating officer within its consultancy business.

Richard Green has been appointed to this role where he joins Mace Consult from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) where he held the position of managing director of the corporate centre.

Working with Davendra Dabasia managing director for international consultancy, and Dan Easthope managing director for property UK and Europe, Mr Green will report to Mace Consult chief executive Jason Millett.

Mr Greens new role will be to lead consultancy practice groups and identify areas worthy of investment. He began his career in the Royal Engineers before he joined Bechtel on the Crossrail project. Following a year with Amey he spent seven years with Jacobs where he was responsible for work on the Palace of Westminster restoration and refurbishment project.

Richard Green said his aim was to “empower our teams to exceed our clients’ expectations and to deliver iconic projects”.

“In his new role as Consult COO, Richard will be able to drive our expertise in data management and cost consultancy ensuring we deliver best in class services and distinctive value for our clients globally” said Jason Millett.
