New Residential Development for Leeds

Planning permission has been granted to Urbanite Living to develop the site in Leeds which was previously occupied by the Yorkshire Post.

Plans for the development will see the construction of three residential towers ranging from 25 to 42 storeys in height. The tallest two towers will between them consist of 1,782 student beds in 576 cluster apartments. The third tower block will offer 348 private rental apartments with roof gardens.

The development is designed by DLA Architecture with Quod as planning consultant.

Further features of the brownfield regeneraton project will include a ‘micro-forest’, a public square and a riverside footpath which will join the site up with other parts of new public realm along the riverfront.
