A new range of battery-powered tools will be making its way to the UK before the end of the year.
Hilti Group’s new Nuron range is a 22v cordless battery platform with approximately 70 different tools to use in building construction, mechanical and engineering, interior finishing also heavy industry and steel and metal work.
Reducing the need for multiple batteries and chargers the same 22v battery can be used on all machines across the range. ‘Set to change the cordless experience for the construction industry forever’ this is the biggest product launch in Hilti’s 80 year history. Hilti say that this new battery is more powerful than ever before even more powerful than mains power. The completely redesigned battery delivers higher power transfer than corded mains which results in a higher performance.
The tools have also been redesigned to weigh less, have ergonomically enhanced grips and shock resistant bumpers. Hilti’s dust removal system and and active torque control are available on the Nuron platform with the relevant tools. Active vibration reduction has also been expanded to more tools within the Nuron portfolio.
The tools are all able to be linked to the cloud with tool park management software to keep track of tools. The data which is collected includes information such as tool usage, location and also the state of health of the battery.
