New Maintenance Contract awarded by Cheshire West & Chester Council

Colas have been awarded a seven year maintenance contract by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Colas will be responsible for the upkeep of Chester City Walls and also the maintenance ot 2,300 km of public highways together with the maintenance of street lighting, gulley cleansing, drainage and also traffic signals beginning on 1st April 2023.

They have been appointed for a seven year term with the possibility of two extensions of four years resulting in a possible 15 year term. Consulting engineer Waterman will deliver professional services to support Colas while Bouygues Energies & Services will be in charge of street lighting and traffic signals.
