New Industrial Development in Carmarthenshire

32,500 sq ft of offices, light industrial units and hybrid spaces, across three buildings are to be built at the Cross Hands East strategic employment site in Carmarthenshire.

These are to be built for the Welsh government in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council. £5.9m is being invested in the project by the Welsh government with additional funding both from Carmarthenshire County Council and the Active Building Centre. £3.25m has also come from the European Regional Development Fund.

The plans are for the new buildings to generate their own electricity by using on-site renewables which will result in reduced running costs and be net zero in-use standard. Andrew Scott is named as main contractor for the development.
