New Bridge over River Clyde

Graham have secured a construction contract to create a new waterfront area able to connect communites to work, health, education and leisure.

A range of services of interest to small businesses is offered as part of this Clyde Waterfront & Renfrew Riverside project.

Plans for the project include building a two-lane opening road bridge across the River Clyde at Renfrew together with a 750m development road to connect into the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland, which is next to Glasgow Airport. Plans also include improved routes for walking and cycling joining to Yoker train station and also the national cycling network.

Graham have set up site accommodation either side of the Clyde to provide a base for more than 120 people. They are now looking for a range of services and supplies to enable construction to progress.

All sub-contracts over £10,000 are being advertised on the Public Contracts Scotland website as part of construction contract commitment. There will also be a need for other services such as catering, vehicle valeting and window cleaning.
