Increasing its fleet by more then 8% Nationwide Platforms have invested in more then 1,100 new machines. Plus nine 32-tonne rigid trucks for the delivery fleet, nineteen 44-tonne tractors and 27 trailers have also been added.

To help operators to avoid collisions crushing themselves the new investment includes eight new boom lifts from JLG with the SkySense detection system.

Nationwide Platforms is owned by French rental group Loxam and (MEWPS) the UK’s largest supplier of mobile elevating work platforms for hire.

“This investment is one of our biggest to date and will ensure Nationwide Platform’s clients have access to the latest in machinery technology which supports high levels of safety and productivity. These new machines also have highly efficient batteries which will provide longer running time therefore reducing downtime” says Glyn Brearly, business director.
