The site of the previous Boddingtons Brewery in Manchester city centre is to be redeveloped.
Plans for the new development will include five separate buildings including a 26-storey tower. The new site will also consist of 556 new homes for sale and rent and also include 31,000 sq ft of commercial and retail space.
Property developer Salboy purchased the site and the new contractor will be Domis Construction who are partly owned by Salboy co-founder and managing director Simon Ismail.
Salboy itself is owned by Fred Done of Betfred bookmakers fame.
