For the construction of a community and health centre in a village near Bracknell, Osborne have been confirmed as main contractor.
Osborne will build the Blue Mountain Community Centre & Health Hub project in Binfield for Bracknell Forest Council and NHS East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
The £7.2m new build project, on the site of the former Blue Mountain Golf clubhouse, will provide a multi-use community space, a nursery, cafe, a GP consultation facility, and minor procedures rooms.
The contractor started on the site last month and is expected to complete in December 2023. It was initially selected for the contact, via the LCP framework in February 2021.
Gordon Kew, Osborne built environment managing director, said: “Community projects like this Blue Mountain project are particularly rewarding to work on as we leave behind facilities that will really help and support the health and wellbeing of local people”.
Osborne desin team is Corde, an alliance of ADP Architects, structural engineer AKS Ward and building services engineer Kj Tait.
