A planning application has been submitted by build-to-rent developer Platform for a £500m 1.3 million sqft mixed-use development on Sweet Street in the South Bank regeneration area of Leeds.
The development will be for up to 1,350 build-to-rent apartments, 200,000 sqft of commercial space over 2 office buildings also a new public square.
Leeds is known to be one of the fastest growing cities in the UK particularly the South Bank area.
It is anticipated that this project will create approximately 350 full time jobs during the construction phase alone.
