A contract to build industrial/warehouse units in Oldham for developer Chancerygate has been agreed with Triton Construction.
The project is to be built at Broadway Central on Lydia Becker Road, Oldham, which is close to junction 21 of the M60. This will be a speculative scheme of eight units consisting of seven properties across two terraces.These range in size from 7,600 sq ft to 18,200 sq ft and also one stand alone unit of 27,000 sq ft.
Contracted to deliver a turnkey solution for the scheme, to include groundworks to prepare the site and full design and build to include offices and yard space, Triton is to also deliver external works including landscaping, lighting ,drainage and car parking.
The project is to also include environmental features such as solar photovoltaic panels for all units, low air permeability design, high performance insulated cladding and roof materials, warehouse roof lights to increase natural light, bicycle parking and electric vehicle charging points.
BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ is anticipated and a planned completion date in summer 2023.
