Work has begun on the groundworks for the construction of Pathways School in Dagenham by Keltbray.
The school is to be built next to a new mixed-use development by Peabody, on the brownfield site of the A1306 New Road in Dagenham.
The project will create the 2,700 sqm Pathways School for children with social, emotional and mental health specials needs for pupils aged between seven and eighteen and will have the capacity for 90 pupils.
Modular construction specialist Reds 10 will be the main contractor for the build having been appointed by the Department for Education off-site schools framwork. Lead designer is to be HLM Architects.
Keltbray is now on site and it is anticipated they will complete towards the end of this year.
