Elliot Group have new name

Modularbuilding companies Elliot Group Ltd., Carter Accommodtion and Procomm Site Services are being consolidated under the single brand of Algeco.

Algeco, a French company, was the first modular building firm bought by TDR capital in 2004. TDR then added Elliot Group of the UK in 2005 and created Modulair Group.

In the past couple of years Modulaire has acquired Carter Accommodation and Procomm Site Services, suppliers of portable modular buildings. TDR then sold Modulaire in June 2021 to Brookfield, another private equity outfit.

The new owners are now dropping the Elliot, Carter and Procomm brands and renaming them all Algeco to create a single brand across the UK and Europe. The changes are to take effect from 31st March 2022.

The combined UK business will be headquartered in Peterborough, with a total of 23 site locations throughout the country servicing its portable, modular building and offsite construction hire and sales activities.

Managing director of Algeco in the UK, John Campbell, said: “Adopting the Algeco brand in the UK provides a link with out heritage, whilst also symbolising the transformation the UK business is currently going through as part of our group’s global ambitions”.
