Plans for the development of the old Earls Court Exhibition Centre in West London have been revealed.
The Earls Court Development Company who own the 40 acre site announced that the first phase of the development is to consist of 1,300 homes, a park and east-west connections, with the complete masterplan showing 4,500 homes and workspace for 15,000 jobs to be aimed towards research and a development hub for green technologies. It is intended to submit a planning application before the end of the year with hopes to begin construction in 2025..
The original Earls Court exhibition centre closed in 2014 with demolition the following year. The site is renowned for its distinguished past and it is anticipated that the new development will create an exciting future.
