Work has been started on a new estate as part of the regeneration of what was previously known as RAF Sealand, Deeside.
Housing developer Bellway plans to build 185 new build homes on the development off Welsh Road, Deeside. The new development known as the Summers Bridge development is part of a wider scheme called The Airfields where developers Countryside, Anwyl and Bellway plan to build 767 homes between them. 45 hectares of industrial development will also be included in the project.
Bellways plan to have the first properties on their 12 hectare site completed by this summer.
