Covid Site Operating Procedures Cease

Introduced almost two years ago in order to help the control of Coronavirus in the workplace, the construction industry’s Site Operating Procedures for Covid are now redundant.

As from 1st April 2022 they no longer apply.

Produced by Build UK and then published by the Construction Leadership Council the guidance has been regularly updated along with changing government advice.

The official statement read: Whilst the living with Covid-19 governments plan makes it clear that the pandemic is not over the removal of Working Safely during Covid-19 guidance together with health and safety requirements for employers to consider Covid-19 in their risk assessments, the Site Operating Procedures, from 1st April 2022, are no longer current but remain available to use as a reference document.
