Contractors Sought for Cladding Repair Work

Six contractors are required to carry out building safety improvement works and the Guiness Partnership is currently advertising for those interested.

Approximately 65,000 properties including high-rise and complex buildings are owned by Guiness. A procurement process is now underway to appoint a framework of contractors to deliver these building safety improvements, particularly relating to external wall systems.

It is planned to run the framework for four years until November 2026. Three contractors to each lot are to be appointed, it is however possible for contractors to win a place on both lots.

It is planned that the framework will be made accessible to other housing associations and registered providers.
