A framework is being organised by Be First, the regeneration company owned by Barking & Dagenham Council. The framework is for the construction of up to 3,500 homes to be built during the next four years.
Be First have established 400 hectares of development land suitable for affordable housing. It is planned to create up to 3,500 new homes in Barking & Dagenham over the next four years creating sustainable, high-quality and affordable communities for the people in Barking & Dagenham.
The construction framework will be central in delivering these plans and contractors are sought who are experienced in delivering sustainable developments and those who are experienced with offsite construction techniques.
