Construction of Oakley School, Leamington Spa

The construction of Oakley School has begun as Willmott Dixon move on site for Warwickshire County Council.

Oakley School will eventually be in a position to accommodate 34 nursery infants, 420 primary school pupils together with 900 secondary pupils.

The development will also include a stand-alone sports hall, several natural turf pitches and an all weather pitch. These amenities will be available for school and community use. Improvements are also scheduled for Oakley Wood Road.

The design of the project endorses a fabric-first approach with the aim of reducing energy consumption and to limit carbon emissions in operation. Air source heat pumps will be installed and solar photovoltaic panels.

Oakley School is being developed to support the Oakley Grove housing development in Whitnash, south of Leamington Spa where 4,000 homes are planned. Completion of the school is planned for the summer of 2024 ready for September 2024 admissions.
