Build-to-rent tower block for Broad Street, Birmingham

A plan for a 32-storey tower block at 100 Broad Street Birmingham has been put forward by developer Urban Vision. The development is to consist of 294 flats supporting the regeneration of an underused brownfield site.

A 61-storey development had been previously planned and approved in 2019 but the project failed to materialise.

These current plans are for a smaller building which is deliverable while being ‘among the most environmentally and socially conscious development’ in Birmingham. Broad Street has seen substantial growth over recent years and should planning permission for the latest plans be granted construction will begin as soon as possible.
