£5m Health Centre for Wednesbury

Interclass, via the Construction West Midlands Framework, has been awarded a contract to build a £5m health centre in Wednesbury, by Sandwell Council with completion planned during the first half of 2023.

Situated in King Street, Wednesbury, the new health centre will be noticeably bigger that the existing facilities. The new facility will include a suite of consulting rooms, together with 32 car parking spaces and an ambulance drop off area. The project also includes constructing five new council homes.

Managing Director of Interclass, Des O’Neill said: “We are extremely pleased to strengthen our relationship with Sandwell Council on this project as Interclass has a substantial record of delivering healthcare facilities”.

Also procured using the Constructing West Midlands Framework, Interclass is presently in the process of constructing a new three classroom facility at The Meadow School in Oldbury. They also recently completed on a new Pavilion at West Smethwick Park, for Sandwell Council.
